Shrimp and KNITS?!? Do you sell shrimp?
No. Shrimp do not create beautiful fibers and they are terrible knitters. This is a play on words for a southern favorite dish, Shrimp and Grits.
Shrimp and Knits is the premier yarn store in the Low Country located in Bluffton, SC (right outside of Hilton Head Island). We specialize in stunning yarn, fun classes for every age, ability and fiber habit, notions you simply must have, and, if you couldn't tell by the name - we go for the laugh. We are undeniably the best, but unpretentiously human here.
Shrimp and Knits - where cool girls make hot things. Come cast on your new obsession today.
181 Bluffton Road, Building F Suite 103, Bluffton, SC 29910

We are located in the Magnolia Village Business park which is behind Peaceful Henry's in Building F - next to The Bluffton Sun.
When you drive into the parking lot, if you didn't turn left or right and kept going straight - you would crash right into where we have our super fun notions displayed. But, please don't do that - because notions are meant to be fun, not roadkill.

We Have More To SAY!
Welcome to the part of the website where things get a little… chatty. ☕🧶
There's a link to all of the different blogs we have to offer from a delightful yarn basket of many moods and mild chaos. Some days you’ll find Meet the Team posts so you can learn who’s enabling your yarn habits and why we all know entirely too much about fiber. Other days we’re deep into Knit Alongs, where we commit as a group, encourage each other loudly, and pretend we’re not all secretly winging it stitch by stitch.
We also keep an eye on what’s hot on Ravelry, because if the internet is collectively knitting the same thing, we feel it’s our civic duty to investigate. Add in a rotating collection of things we think are cool, useful, cozy, or “you didn’t know you needed this but you absolutely do,” and you’ve got yourself a solid reading situation.
And then there’s Tracy’s humor writing. These pieces may include everyday observations, questionable life choices, mild existential spirals, and the occasional shrimp-adjacent metaphor. No promises of solutions. Only recognition. And jokes. Possibly at her own expense.
Think of this blog as part yarn shop bulletin board, part group text, and part “I was just going to write one paragraph and now here we are.” Grab a cup of something warm, settle in, and enjoy the ramble.
