Technique Series - Knitter's math ✨🧶
Every knitter deserves a Fairy Godmother. Lucky for you, ours is the real deal.
Caitlin, called our Knitting Fairy Yarnmother affectionately by some of our regulars, has earned the title through years of mastering the craft and helping knitters discover just how capable they really are. With deep technical knowledge, an eye for detail, and a passion for teaching, she's ready to share the techniques that transform good knitters into confident, accomplished ones.
Knitting is creative... until the math shows up. In this class, we'll take the mystery (and mild panic) out of knitter's math by learning how to calculate gauge, adjust stitch counts, and confidently make patterns fit your yarn, your needles, and your project. Because swatching is only half the battle—the numbers have to play nice too.
Bring to class: Pencil and paper & calculator
You'll build confidence, refine your skills, and learn the little details that make a big difference!
Because great knitting isn't magic—it's mastering the craft, one technique at a time.
Instructor: Caitlin Piette
Class Dates: Saturday, January 9th, 12 - 1 pm
Class fee: $25. Any purchases made for and during the class will receive 10% off!
Classes are suited for all skill levels. Everyone can benefit from learning something new about the craft!
