That is so sad! You deserve happiness and fine things. Cast on a new project, the most squishy yarn, fun notions and instruction books, some new skills and fiber friends with a class... Plus, this habit is much better for your teeth than crack.

THE STASH EXCHANGE - Mix Tape Tee Edition

Bring your stash. Raid theirs. Make a top.

We're making the Mix Tape Tee by Wool & Pine, and your admission price is sitting somewhere in that stash you swear you're going to use someday or left over skeins you're not sure what to do with.

Bring your beautiful fingering/sport/DK weight yarn leftovers and we'll combine, swap, trade, and raid our way through the pile to create completely custom Mix Tape Tees. We'll play with colors, textures, combinations, and those tiny amounts of really good yarn you've been saving because 17 grams is definitely enough for something.

Turns out, it is.

We will throw in the pattern for this event. Laughter is guaranteed.

COST OF ADMISSION: YOUR LEFTOVER STASH

Bring fingering-weight leftovers you'd expect to find at your local yarn shop: hand-dyed yarns, merino, wool, alpaca, silk, linen, cotton, and beautiful blends.

📅 Saturday, October 10
⏰ 2–5 PM

THESE EVENTS FILL UP QUICKLY - EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A FREE EVENT, YOU NEED TO GRAB YOUR SPOT BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES!

Please no craft-store acrylic or novelty yarn for the community pile. If you've ever looked at a leftover and thought, "This is way too nice to throw away," THAT'S what we want.

Come with yarn. Leave with different yarn and the beginnings of a fabulous new top.

Because apparently stash busting does not actually mean reducing the stash.

Your stash has been waiting its entire life for this top.

Skill Level: Adventurous beginners and beyond. You should already know how to cast on, knit, and purl.
