That is so sad! You deserve happiness and fine things. Cast on a new project, the most squishy yarn, fun notions and instruction books, some new skills and fiber friends with a class... Plus, this habit is much better for your teeth than crack.

Some bags carry groceries.

Some bags carry your latest knitting project.

This one will almost certainly leave the shop stuffed with yarn you absolutely did not plan on buying when you walked in.

Join Tammy, owner of Freckled Frog Yarns, as she leads this fun Knit Along where we make a gorgeous mosaic market bag that somehow manages to be practical, beautiful, and just a little bit of a yarn enabler. We'll be using Tammy's hand-dyed Squish yarn, because if you're going to spend hours making a bag, it might as well be one people stop you to ask about.

You'll start by knitting a sturdy square bottom, pick up stitches to work the body in the round, and create the woven basket look using simple slip-stitch mosaic knitting. No juggling multiple strands at the same time. Just one color per row and a little knitting magic. The double-thick handles and polished top edge make it sturdy enough for farmers markets, beach days, library books... or the twelve skeins that somehow followed you home after class.

Tammy will be there every step of the way with tips, encouragement, and the occasional reminder that counting is, in fact, important.
