Olga Sweater Class — Because Apparently We Have a Stripe Problem
We can’t get enough of stripes around here… and honestly, we’ve stopped trying.
Join us as we cast on the Olga Sweater by PetiteKnit — the effortlessly cool, perfectly striped sweater that somehow looks equally at home with jeans, leggings, or that “I’m just popping out for yarn” outfit.
This class is designed for knitters who are ready to build confidence with top-down sweater construction while creating a garment you’ll actually want to wear on repeat. We’ll walk through the yoke, shaping, stripe management, sleeve separation, and all the little details that make the Olga such a satisfying knit.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to keep your stripes crisp, your tension consistent, and your sweater looking polished from cast-on to bind-off. You’ll also pick up plenty of practical tips for trying on as you go, adjusting fit, and avoiding those “wait… why is this sleeve six inches longer than the other one?” moments.
Perfect for knitters who:
Can knit and purl comfortably
Have some experience knitting in the round
Want to tackle a wearable sweater with guidance and support
Believe that one more striped sweater is always a reasonable life choice
Expect laughter, helpful troubleshooting, and a room full of knitters collectively enabling each other’s stripe addiction.
