This bat has wings, tiny fangs, and absolutely no idea how to be frightening.
In this kid-friendly needle felting class, young makers will transform fluffy wool into their own delightfully round bat—complete with oversized wings, pointy ears, enormous eyes, and a face that looks more surprised than spooky.
Students will learn:
- How to safely use a felting needle
- How to shape loose wool into a firm body
- How to create and attach wings, ears, and feet
- How to add eyes, a nose, and tiny bat fangs
- How to give their bat its own unique personality
No needle felting experience is required, and all materials are included. Each student will leave with a finished bat—and possibly a new appreciation for repeatedly stabbing wool until it becomes adorable.
Because felting needles are extremely sharp, this class is designed for children ages 10 and above who can follow safety instructions and work carefully with supervision.
