That is so sad!

You deserve happiness and fine things. Cast on a new project, the most squishy yarn, fun notions and instruction books, some new skills and fiber friends with a class...

Plus, this habit is much better for your teeth than crack.

Meet the yarn that’s equal parts sophistication and snuggle. 🌿 Wonderland Tweed is a silky-soft, high-twist beauty with just enough Donegal nepps to make you feel delightfully rustic—but never scratchy. Think cozy countryside cottage vibes, minus the drafty windows.

This luxury tweed blend drapes like a dream, stitches up smooth as butter, and has that subtle texture that makes every project look intentionally fabulous (even if you maybe dropped a stitch or two).

From soft watercolor washes to bold speckles and a touch of high-drama variegation, there’s something here for every mood—and yes, a few rainbows snuck in too. 🌈

Wrap yourself in tweedy elegance, and prepare for strangers to ask, “Did you make that?” (You’ll get to say yes.)

Weight: Sport

Yardage: 310 yards per 3.5 oz skein (6 skeins per bag)

Materials: 55% Superwash Merino, 15% Mulberry Silk, 15% Baby Alpaca, 15% Donegal

Gauge: 22–24 sts = 4" on US 4–5 needles

Yarn Care: Most of Wonderland's yarns are superwash wool, which means they’re designed for easier care — no felting surprises here!

  • Washing: Hand-wash gently in cool water. You can also use the delicate cycle in your machine if it’s truly gentle.
  • Soap: They recommend a small amount of mild shampoo or your favorite wool wash. A touch of hair conditioner works beautifully to keep fibers soft and silky.
  • Rinsing: Rinse in cool water, being careful not to agitate.
  • Drying: Press out excess water with a towel (no wringing or twisting). Lay flat to dry, reshaping your project as needed.

Tip: Treat your handmade pieces with the same care you’d give a favorite wool sweater or scarf — a little gentleness goes a long way!
