We took two things people love— yarn and having strong opinions about yarn—and turned it into a fully organized, slightly chaotic, absolutely unforgettable event.

Welcome to Yarn Tasting Speed Dating.

When: Saturday, July 25th from 2-4 pm.

💘 Here’s how it works:

You’ll rotate through 10 different yarns like you’re on a very niche dating show.

At each station, you’ll have 10 minutes to:

• Meet the yarn
• Cast on (or jump in)
• Knit or crochet a bit
• Form immediate and possibly dramatic opinions

Then—just when you’re getting attached—you rotate.

Because commitment is scary.
But also… you might come back for it later.

🧵 What’s included:

• ✨ 10 curated yarns to try (no guessing, just touching)
• 📝 A very official tasting card so you can document your feelings
• 🍷 A beverage + snack pairing at every single “date”
  (yes, every yarn comes with its own little moment—because we are nothing if not committed to the theme)
• 🧶 The option to purchase anything you fall in love with
  (this is where things get dangerous)

💬 The important details:

• Bring your own needles or hook for DK weight yarn (so you can keep your swatches like the tiny trophies they are)
• Need tools? We’ve got you covered in-shop
• Minimal experience needed - Should know basics like how to cast on and knit/crochet, and bind off.  

⚠️ What to expect:

• You will have a favorite
• You will be surprised
• You will absolutely judge at least one yarn harshly
• You may walk out with yarn you didn’t plan to buy

We support you through all of it.
