You’re knitting along, feeling competent. Confident. Possibly unstoppable.
Then you look down.
A dropped stitch is free-climbing toward the floor.
A rogue purl is waving from a field of knits.
There’s a mystery hole that absolutely was not part of the pattern.
Before you unravel half your project in a fit of fiber drama, sign up for this class. We are not frogging today. We are learning yarn CPR.
In This Class, You’ll Learn How To:
• Pick up dropped stitches without breaking a sweat
• Ladder down on purpose to fix a mistake
• Flip a knit stitch into a purl
• Flip a purl into a knit
• Add or decrease a stitch neatly and intentionally when you have the wrong stitch count
• Fix a yarn over (whether it was accidental… or mysteriously missing)
• Read your knitting so it finally starts making sense
We will also talk about how you confidently cast on 20 stitches and somehow now have 35… and your “scarf” is narrowing, widening, and generally behaving like a highly uncomfortable thong. We will diagnose it. We will fix it. We will restore dignity.
This is skill-building. This is confidence. This is looking at your project and thinking, “Cute. You thought you could defeat me.”
What to Bring:
• A small swatch you can experiment on
• A crochet hook (if you have one)
• Your knitting needles
• A project with a mistake staring at you like it owns the place
If you’ve got a real-life oops in progress, bring it. We’ll fix it together. Every knitter in the room has been personally victimized by a dropped stitch at some point.
This class is perfect for knitters who already know how to knit and purl but are ready to stop treating mistakes like the end of the world.
Come learn the rescue skills.
Come gain knitting superpowers.
Come leave knowing your project doesn’t control you.
You control the yarn.
