That is so sad!

You deserve happiness and fine things. Cast on a new project, the most squishy yarn, fun notions and instruction books, some new skills and fiber friends with a class...

Plus, this habit is much better for your teeth than crack.

Murder, mayhem, and merino — now that’s my kind of weekend read.

This double-header of cozy mysteries stitches together two yarn-filled tales where the needles click as fast as the plot twists. In Knit One, Kill Two, Kelly Flynn heads back to Colorado for her aunt’s funeral and immediately suspects that something more sinister than “oops, slipped on a skein” is afoot. With help from the lively regulars at House of Lambspun (a yarn shop that sounds suspiciously like my dream vacation), Kelly learns to knit a scarf — and also how to lure a killer out of hiding. Multi-tasking goals, right?

Then in Needled to Death, Kelly pops over to her friend Vickie’s alpaca farm, expecting some cozy fiber fun and maybe a few selfies with fluffy livestock. Instead, she finds Vickie permanently horizontal on her own hand-woven rug. (Let’s just say the dye wasn’t the only thing red that day.) Naturally, Kelly can’t resist diving into another investigation — even if it means putting down the sweater she’s been knitting in the round. Priorities!

If you like your mysteries cozy, your heroines clever, and your clues tangled up with a side of wool, Double Knit Murdersis your next cast-on. Just… maybe don’t read it alone in a yarn shop after dark.
