That is so sad!

You deserve happiness and fine things. Cast on a new project, the most squishy yarn, fun notions and instruction books, some new skills and fiber friends with a class...

Plus, this habit is much better for your teeth than crack.

Classes & Events

Everyone can enjoy knitting and crocheting! Even if you’ve tried and failed. Even if you’re left-handed. Even if your Great Aunt Tilly once tried to teach you when you were eight, you both said words you can’t take back, and now you twitch whenever you see acrylic yarn.

At Low Country Shrimp and Knits, we promise—no trauma, no judgment, and no one leaves without learning something new. Our classes are for every level, from total beginner to seasoned expert. Some focus on the basics, others are project-based, and all of them are ridiculously fun. You’ll learn, laugh, and leave feeling inspired (and maybe a little addicted).

Class Policies

There are a few provisos, a couple of quid pro quos…

Project-Based Classes:
We ask that you purchase your yarn from Low Country Shrimp and Knits so we can guarantee quality, consistency, and help you with substitutions. Plus—it’s a yarn store! We have thousands of beautiful yarns begging to come home with you. As a thank-you, you’ll get 10% off yarn and fiber purchased for class use, and 10% off anything else you buy the day of your class.

Communication:
When you sign up, please include your phone number and email address. If a class needs to be rescheduled, we’ll do our best to contact you right away. If we must change the date, you can transfer to the next available class or receive a refund.

Payments & Cancellations:
All classes (including private lessons) must be paid in advance.
If you need to cancel, please email shrimpandknits@gmail.com at least 48 hours before class to receive class credit or be switched to a comparable session.
If a class is canceled by Shrimp and Knits, you’ll receive a full refund, promptly and without drama.

Attendance:
Registration covers the full class session. If you can’t attend all the sessions, it’s best to sign up for another time. Refunds won’t be issued for missed classes or after a class has started.

Life Happens:
We totally get it—things come up. We’ll always do our best to accommodate, but it’s your responsibility to remember when your class is.

And finally—if you have questions, ask Tracy. She only bites a little. Unless she’s hangry. In that case, toss snacks in her general direction and proceed cautiously until the moment passes.
