That is so sad! You deserve happiness and fine things. Cast on a new project, the most squishy yarn, fun notions and instruction books, some new skills and fiber friends with a class... Plus, this habit is much better for your teeth than crack.

Why learn one fiber skill when you can learn two and feel wildly accomplished before happy hour?

This class is a double feature: wet felting + dry needle felting all wrapped around a humble bar of soap that is about to live its best life.

First up: Wet Felting.
You’ll wrap your soap in soft wool roving then get it set so it can dry over the following 24 hours.

Then we level up.

Next you’ll learn Dry Needle Felting techniques to add a design right onto the felted surface. A flower. A heart. A little abstract swirl that says, “I am both clean and creative.” The felt becomes your canvas, and your soap becomes art.

✨ During class you will:
• Learn how to Wet felt a bar of soap from start to finish - and get yours all set to dry over the next 24 hours

• Build a needle-felted picture or design to personalize it to be added after the soap dries completely

Two skills. One project. Super fancy soap. Gifts for every holiday.

It’s hands-on, slightly splashy, deeply satisfying fiber fun. And you leave with something beautiful, useful, and completely you.

Come make soap sweaters with us.

Instructor: Tracy Winslow — Owner of Low Country Shrimp & Knits (and professional wool-stabber)

Class: Saturday, April 18th • 2–4 PM

Class Fee Includes: The lesson and all the materials* (and moral support) you need to make your own adorable felted creation. Translation: everything you need except snacks and patience.

You’ll leave with new skills, a sudsy wool-wrapped bar of soap, and the quiet satisfaction of someone who now casually says, “I felted that.”

Come get a little splashy with us. 🧼🧶

*Soap used for class is Dove Beauty Bar Soap Original. If you prefer to use a different soap, please bring it to the class for felting.
