Mother’s Day Mouse – Beginner Needle Felting Class 🌸🐭
Meet the tiniest overachiever you’ll ever stab… with wool. This sweet little mouse has shown up holding a bouquet that is absolutely too big for her body, which feels very on-brand for Mother’s Day energy. She’s soft, charming, slightly lopsided in the best way, and deeply committed to showing up with flowers.
In this beginner-friendly needle felting class, you’ll learn how to turn loose, fluffy wool into an adorable mouse clutching a full armload of colorful blooms. No experience required. If you can poke wool repeatedly and enjoy chatting while doing something oddly soothing, you are exactly who this class is for.
What you’ll learn:
• Needle felting basics (aka how to stab wool, not yourself)
• Building a simple animal shape from scratch
• Attaching ears, arms, and tiny mouse feet
• Creating and layering a bouquet that looks impressive without emotional pressure
• Adding facial details that somehow make everyone say “aww” out loud
What’s included:
• All wool and supplies
• Use of felting tools during class
• Step-by-step instruction with plenty of help
• A finished Mother’s Day mouse you’ll be weirdly proud of
Perfect as a gift, a keepsake, or a heartfelt “I made this instead of buying another candle” moment. Bring your mom, make one for your mom, or be your own mom and make yourself a mouse. We support all versions.
Skill level: Beginner-friendly
Warning: Contains sharp needles, wool fuzz everywhere, and a strong chance you’ll speak in a brogue before you leave.
Instructor: Tracy Winslow — Owner of Low Country Shrimp & Knits (and professional wool-stabber)
Class: Saturday, March 7th • 2–4 PM
Class Fee Includes: Two Hour lesson and all the materials (and moral support) you need to make your own adorable friend (aka everything you need except snacks and patience).
