That is so sad! You deserve happiness and fine things. Cast on a new project, the most squishy yarn, fun notions and instruction books, some new skills and fiber friends with a class... Plus, this habit is much better for your teeth than crack.

How to Do a Wrap and Turn (Without the Drama)

Wrap and turn sounds like a ballroom move, but it’s really just a polite way to avoid holes when you’re knitting short rows.

  1. Knit to the stitch where the pattern tells you to wrap and turn.

  2. Slip that stitch purlwise to the right needle. No twisting. This is a judgment-free zone.

  3. Bring your yarn to the front (if knitting) or to the back (if purling).

  4. Slip the stitch back to the left needle.

  5. Turn your work around like it owes you money.

  6. Continue knitting as directed.

Later, when you come back to that wrapped stitch, you’ll knit it together with its little yarn hug so everything looks smooth and intentional. Congratulations. You did it. 🎉

Mini Tools That Earn Their Spot in Your Project Bag

These lightweight 2.5" square Mini Tools are compact, clever, and wildly useful. Tuck one inside your knitting bag, clip it to the outside with the ball chain, or keep it nearby for quick technique refreshers when your brain says, “I swear I knew this once.”

Mix and match the tools you need for knitting, crochet, sewing, stitching, sock making, mitten magic, or spinning yarn. There’s a Mini Tool for almost every “wait… how does that go again?” moment.

They make excellent gifts, perfect add-ons, and a low-commitment way to learn new techniques without opening seventeen tabs on your phone.

Each Mini Tool comes on its own chain because losing tiny helpful things is a universal crafting experience.
