That is so sad!

You deserve happiness and fine things. Like a new project...

Our Heavy Merino is made of 100 % traceable, non-mulesed Merino wool. While Merino wool is one of the softest types of wool, our Heavy Merino is a bit more rustic and less soft than our thin Merino. The reason being is the wool is taken further from the sheep’s skin. Our Heavy Merino is super strong, long-lasting and wears really well. It’s great for sweaters and can be combined with our Soft Silk Mohair for extra softness and fluffiness. Our Heavy Merino is spun in a way to minimize peeling.

Fiber: 100 % non-mulesed merino wool, Oeko-Tex Standard 100

Needles: 4,5 mm

Yardage: 125m | worsted weight 50g

Gauge: 18 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm

Care Instructions: Hand-wash in cool water, dry flat

Merino wool has many excellent properties. It is temperature-regulating.  That is, the wool keeps our bodies warm in cold weather, and releases heat in warm weather, keeping our skin cool.  At the same time, wool, like silk, can carry moisture away from the skin, and can absorb 30% of its weight without feeling wet.

Wool is also dirt-repellent and requires minimal care.

The yarn is produced in Italy. Their spinning mill follows ethical, technical and environmental standards, creating yarns free from harmful chemicals.

Note: Since computer monitors display colors differently, we cannot guarantee that the color of the yarn on your computer monitor accurately captures the true colors of the product.

Pattern Shown: Chunky Cable Sweater by Knitting for Olive

The yarn is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.
