Ready to stab something and call it art? Perfect. Join us for the Barn Owl Needle Felting Class at Low Country Shrimp & Knits, where we turn loose tufts of wool into something adorable and only slightly judgmental.
We’ll be using the Owl Felting Kit by Agna, straight from Poland (and straight from the heart). Agna’s been stabbing wool with needles for over a decade — intentionally — and now she’s sharing her secrets so you can create your own soft, wide-eyed masterpiece.
You’ll get everything you need right in the kit:
🪡 Three felting needles
🧽 Felting mat
🐏 White, boar, bear, and black combed wool (yes, it’s as fluffy as it sounds)
By the end of class, you’ll have a wise little owl ready to perch proudly on your desk, mantle, or wherever you display proof that you can make cool stuff with pointy tools.
Instructor: Tracy Winslow - Owner of Low Country Shrimp and Knits (and professional wool-stabber)
Class Date: Saturday, January 3rd from 2-4pm
Price includes kit and lesson. (aka everything you need except snacks and patience).
Please arrive about 10 minutes early — classes start right on time, and you don’t want to miss the part where everyone realizes this is weirdly relaxing.
Come learn something new, make something delightful, and leave with a tiny owl that’ll silently judge your future craft projects.
