Beginner Knitting: Not Your Grandma’s Lesson 🧶
Ready to dive into the world of knitting without the side-eye from Nana? This class is for total beginners—no experience, no stress, no yelling (at least not from the instructor). You’ll learn how to cast on, master the knit stitch, and maybe even tackle the purl if you’re feeling spicy.
We’ll kick things off with a simple washcloth pattern—because everyone needs one, and it’s the perfect project to practice your shiny new skills. Along the way you’ll discover why knitting is the ultimate combo of busy hands + active brain + accidental therapy session.
Class fee includes two hours of hands-on instruction, knitting needles, and one skein of yarn (aka: everything you need to officially call yourself a knitter).

Minimum of three participants for class to take place. Please arrive at Low Country Shrimp and Knits a few minutes before the start of class. All classes will begin promptly at the scheduled time..
