Knitting Skill Levels for Low Country Shrimp and Knits classes:
Beginner: Casting on, Basic knit and purl stitches, and casting off.
Easy: Basic stitches, increases, decreases, yarn overs, repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes, and minimal shaping and finishing. The ability to read simple charts and keys.
Intermediate: Projects that incorporate a wide variety of stitches, such as basic cables, lace and simple intarsia, as well as knitting in the round, and more complex shaping and finishing. The ability to read more advanced stitch pattern chart; such as lace and cable charts.
Advanced: Projects using advanced techniques such as short rows, Fair Isle, more intricate intarsia, cables, lace patterns, and numerous color changes. Requires more intuitive understanding of a pattern or chart.
