Cables look fancy, feel cozy, and have a reputation for being way harder than they actually are. In this skill-building class, we’ll demystify cable knitting using the Tempest Hat by Rachel Wolfe as our project. You’ll learn how to read cable charts, use a cable needle (without fear), and keep your stitches tidy and confident.
By the end of class, you’ll be well on your way to a beautifully textured hat—and armed with cable skills you can take straight into future projects, from socks and mittens to sweaters and beyond. If you’ve been cable-curious but a little intimidated, this is your sign. Come twist some stitches and see what all the fuss is about!
