Meet Agnes, Dorothy, and Maureen - the three best Snowfolk you've ever seen! These three knitters are the dearest of friends and make the perfect knitting circle on chilly days. For 2023, Universal Yarn has re-imagined several accessories for our little friends, but this is just a start. We hope you will take these ideas and run with them, personalizing your own snow pals as you see fit.
The bodies of these Snowfolk are knit from the bottom in the round on DPNs and are stuffed with polyester filling. For Snowfolk that stand well on their own, you might consider placing a sand-filled pouch in the base to weight them down. You can add smooth twigs to use as arms. Each accessory is knit separately and removable. The cowl and beret are both knit in the round and the capelet is knit flat. A small I-cord is used for the hand warmers.
Included: Yarn and Pattern
Difficulty: Easy - (Well, that's what they say on it. Tracy thinks it's more of an intermediate pattern.)
Techniques: Knit in the round, stranded colorwork, embroidery, I-cord
Not included: Needles, black scrap yarn, tapestry needle, stitch markers, poly-fin stuffing, twigs.
