That is so sad!

You deserve happiness and fine things. Like a new project...

Soft, luscious 100% baby alpaca in a wide range of colors: Juniper Moon Farm's Moonshine yarn is a wonder! This cozy 4-ply yarn has a slight halo and works up between a light worsted weight and a DK weight gauge, so you'll want to make sure to swatch before knitting or crocheting your project. Imagine heavenly soft sweaters with elegant drape and warm berets and scarves. Herriot's earthtone or gently heathered colorways are very of the moment and will be endlessly fun to combine in stripes, patterns and colorwork.

Nestled in the rolling hills of central Virginia, you’ll find Juniper Moon Farm, a place where fine wool sheep and Angora goats produce some of the finest farm yarns in the United States. Founded by Susan Gibbs in 2007, Juniper Moon Farm was the first to apply the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model to yarn and spinning fibers.

In addition to the yarn from our own flock, Susan is the Creative Director of Juniper Moon Farm Yarns, a line of carefully sourced and thoughtfully crafted yarns that feature fibers grown in Peru, Argentina, Nepal, and Italy. Each yarn is paired with a curated collection of patterns by some of the hottest and up-and-coming designers.
