WHave you always wanted to make a hat but are nervous about DPNs? No worries - with this basics class, we will talk about different ways to make a hat and get you started on an easy hat pattern with squishy, beachy yarn to rep your love of the Low Country. Must know how to cast on, knit, and purl.

Instructor: Tracy Winslow - Owner of Low Country Shrimp and Knits

Class Date: Saturday, January 11 from 9-11am

Please arrive at Low Country Shrimp and Knits 10 minutes before the start of class, with materials in hand. All classes will begin promptly at the scheduled time. 

Class fee: $65 for a 2-hour in-person session and one skein of Lang Multi Color Snowflake yarn for the project. Then when you have any questions, you make an appointment to get additional support so the project is at your own pace. 

Project is best for: Knitters who know how to cast on and the knit stitch.

For project-based classes we require your yarn to be purchased at Shrimp and Knits with a 10% discount in advance of the class. 

Needles: Size 10 16" circular needles but might vary based on your knitting style

Notions: Stitch Marker, tapestry needle, scissors - whatever is in your notions bag!
