Knit this elegant and simple sleeveless tank. The SABAI top is an airy summer top with a boat neckline. The pattern has two different options, one with a ribbing defining the neckline and body, the other is simpler with only ribbing at the bottom edge. Class will work best if you come prepared with a gauge swatch of your desired yarn. Knit a swatch of 35 stitches for 4" in stockinette. Wet block if possible. No time to do that? We will then make a swatch during class.
We will go over tank construction and the techniques used to shape the garment.

Please arrive at Low Country Shrimp and Knits 10 minutes before the start of class, with materials in hand. All classes will begin promptly at the scheduled time.
Class fee: $50 for a 2-hour in-person session. Then when you have any questions, you make an appointment to get additional support so the project is at your own pace. Any purchases made for and during the class will receive 10% off!
Project is best for: First time garment knitters and advanced beginner knitters.
Yarn: Pattern is written for cotton mix yarn that is worsted weight.
Yardage: 480- 960 yards dependent on size (Please note that yardage is estimated, and can vary between knitters and yarn used.)
For project-based classes we require your yarn to be purchased at Shrimp and Knits with a 10% discount in advance of the class.
Needles: Use needle size recommended on your ball band- likely a US 6
Notions: Stitch Marker, tapestry needle, scissors - whatever is in your notions bag!
